Livu aquapark

The largest sheltered aquapark in the Baltic area is situated an the entry to Yurmala. Crazy and less crazy slopes for kids and adults. There is a special children's town - "The Island of captain Kid": slopes, waterfalls and water cannons. There is an opportunity to organize children's birthdays.

The Circus

The history of Riga Circus is almost 100 years old. It is the only stationary circus in the Baltic. The circus was built by a circus actor, who bought the land, where the building now stands. The shows start on last but one Fridays of October and last until Easter. 2-3 programs, a Christmas and an Easter show run in Riga Circus in this time

The largest bowling centre in the Baltic countries (24 isles). Hosted world championship in bowling. You can also play Russian pool (3 tables), snooker (2 tables), pool (15 tables), darts.

Riga

Two auditoriums, the new one - with better accoustics. The host of "Lielais Kristaps" Latvian movie festival. Three last rows in the new auditorium have no elbow-rests, which alows couples to go trough dramatic moments together. Tickets for these seats cost more.

The Zoo

Home of 3000 animals (aside from invertebrates) welcomes nearly 300 thousand guests yearly and is one of the leading "green" organizations in Latvia. In 2002 the territory of the zoo expanded by 3,5 hectares, the building are constantly being renewed and new open-air cages are built. In Riga Zoo children can not only see the animals they cannot see in everyday life, but also play with domestic animals they can see in any village. Besides that, many learning games are spread all around the zoo, there is a "live merry-go-round" and a cafeteria.
