"Lido" complex

Lido - is a restaurant and a children's fun-house at the same time. The fact that there are no other stationary places of that kind close to the center of the city, makes it in fact the most popular place for children. A restaurant, a bistro, a beer cellar. a big fun-park, a kids' driving school, jumpers, hills, climbers and other fun things to do. Tasty and various food, almost like traditional lettish cuisine. You can also reserve banquets of children's parties. In the winter time a huge Christmass tree is placed near the complex and a skatingrink works there. At weekends, especially when they are sunny, the place tends to be rather crowded.

Livu aquapark

The largest sheltered aquapark in the Baltic area is situated an the entry to Yurmala. Crazy and less crazy slopes for kids and adults. There is a special children's town - "The Island of captain Kid": slopes, waterfalls and water cannons. There is an opportunity to organize children's birthdays.

Akvalande

An aquapark quite small (comparing to the one in Jurmala) - it has 2 large slopes, many small ones for children, saunas, jacousie, "dry-land" playgrounds, a cafeteria. Situated close to the Old Town (2 trolleybus stops from Strelnieku square).

The Cirkus

The history of Riga Circus is almost 100 years old. It is the only stationary circus in the Baltic. The circus was built by a circus actor, who bought the land, where the building now stands. The shows start on last but one Fridays of October and last until Easter. 2-3 programs, a Christmas and an Easter show run in Riga Circus in this time.

The Puppet Theater

The Puppet Theatre is a whole world of fairy-tales, colors, talanted performers, a world where children's dreams become real. The chairs of the big hall are equiped so that you can adjust the height of the seat depending on who sits on it - an adult or a child. There are plays in Russian and Latvian for children aged 2 to 6 years.
